COMMISSIONED ART

Brachy10.jpg

RIVERS, DREAMERS

Albin Biblom was commissioned by Stockholm Council´s Culture Administration to make artwork in the new cancer treatment building in Karolinska Solna, Stockholm, Sweden. The title refers to Marie Curie's walks along the river Wisla, Warsaw and her later statement that "humanity also needs dreamers". Throughout the rooms nature is the theme, occasionally with interwoven quotes and notes by Marie Curie. Part of the artwork has been placed in radiation-proof care rooms. Completed in the spring of 2018.
